Long Spring Hike - Saturday, April 25th, 2026, 9:00am - 12:00pm at Mountain Lakes Park

Hike the beautiful trails at Mountain Lakes Park with LLT board member Paul Collura.

Enjoy a moderate spring hike through Mountain Lakes Park with us. We will start by visiting the spectacular lookout point with a vista over Lewisboro and North Salem. It will be followed by a short climb into the forest on our way to Mount Bailey, the highest point in Westchester County. We’ll conclude the morning by walking around Hemlock Lake and/or Spruce Lake depending on conditions. Expect moderate terrain spanning approximately 5-6 miles for about 2 ½ - 3 hours, which will include several breaks.

Sturdy shoes, appropriate layers, plenty of water, and snacks as needed, are recommended. This program is recommended for people aged 9 & up due to length and pace. We will hike in light rain, but steady rain or other inclement weather cancels.

Sal J. Prezioso Mountain Lakes Park is located at 201 Hawley Rd., North Salem. Entry to this Westchester County Park is always free! Please park in the Tamarack parking area, which is the one past Hemlock Lake, where the paved road ends and the gravel road begins. Signs will be placed to help you find it.
