Inclusive Maple Sugaring Adventure - February 20th, 2026, 10:00am - 12:00pm at Trailside Nature Museum

This inclusive program has been developed in partnership with the Katonah-Lewisboro Special Education Parent Teacher Organization (KLSEPTO), but is open to ALL families with children or young adults of varying abilities.

Join us to learn how to tap a tree and about the process of making syrup - and also get to taste some! Families will meet in front of the Wigwam before learning about how maple syrup is made from one of the naturalists at the Trailside Museum. With our remaining time we can explore the trails around the museum and inside of the museum itself. If the snow is good, bring a sled to brave the legendary Pell Hill next to the museum!

Space is limited, so advance registration is required (ONE ticket per FAMILY), especially so we can communicate any updates or changes to you. This is NOT a drop off program. Sturdy winter shoes, warm layers, and something to drink are recommended. Steady rain and/or other inclement weather reschedules or cancels.

Register Here.
