Celebrate Earth Day with us and learn about "Coexisting with Wildlife" with naturalist Leah Cass. This program will focus on how we can proactively prevent interactions with wildlife and what to do if we see wildlife up close. We will also discuss some action steps that can be taken to help support the wildlife in our area. Animals to be covered include black bears, coyotes, bobcats, copperheads, and bats. We are sure this will be a lively topic with lots of stories and tips!
This hike will be about 2 miles, is rated moderate, and is recommended for ages 7+. Sturdy, mud-resistant shoes are recommended. Friendly dogs on leash are welcome. Steady rain or other inclement weather will cancel.
