Calling all poets and poetry lovers! Lewisboro Land Trust is excited to continue our new series of four season hikes that will inspire participants to interact with the natural world while exploring the art of poetry. Join Nicholas Lung-Bugenski – local father, educator, and nature enthusiast – for this unique outdoor program. We encourage everyone to bring a favorite poem about spring to share along the hike. Writing supplies will be provided for everyone to create their poetry as well. While there will be no stylistic limitations to the poems we read and write, special emphasis will be placed on haikus. So tighten your boot strings, loosen your language, and join us!
This hike is rated moderate and best suited for ages 7 and up. Sturdy shoes and warm layers are recommended. Refreshments will be served, so insulated bottles or mugs are encouraged to reduce waste. Steady rain and other inclement weather will cancel this event. Save the date for our summer poetry hike on Saturday, August 13th.
Advance registration at the link below is appreciated so we can communicate any updates or changes to you.
