Meet naturalist Jeff Main at the Kimberly Bridge picnic area for a 2-hour hike along Cross River to see and learn about seasonal changes to the park's aquatic ecosystem and so much more.
This hike is rated moderate due to uneven terrain and length of about 4 miles. Please wear sturdy, mud-resistant shoes. Friendly dogs on leash are welcome.
Registration is not required. If you have any questions, please call the park office at 914-864-7317. Steady rain and other inclement weather will reschedule or cancel. Any location change or updates will be posted on the whiteboard at the entry gate.
The entrance to Ward Pound Ridge Reservation is located off of Route 121, just south of Route 35 in Cross River. After passing the gatehouse, keep driving straight about 2 miles (past the meadow and Trailside Nature Museum) until you reach Kimberly Bridge parking lot on the left.
