Calling all poets and poetry lovers! Lewisboro Land Trust is excited to offer a new series of four season hikes that will inspire participants to interact with the natural world while exploring the art of poetry. Join Nicholas Lung-Bugenski–local father, educator, and nature enthusiast–for this unique outdoor program. We encourage everyone to bring something to write with and/or a favorite poem about winter to share. While there will be no stylistic limitations to the poems we read and write, special emphasis will be placed on haikus. So tighten your boot strings, loosen your language, and get outside with us!
This is a family program best suited for ages 7 and up, but all ages are welcome. Sturdy shoes and warm layers are recommended. Warm cider will be served, so insulated mugs are encouraged. Steady rain and other inclement weather will reschedule for the following day, Sunday 1/23.
Space is limited so advance registration is required at [https://www.eventbrite.com/e/winter-poetry-hike-tickets-243836661017](https://www.eventbrite.com/e/winter-poetry-hike-tickets-243836661017)
