September Preschool Hike - Friday, September 12th, 1:30pm - 3:00pm at Old Field Preserve
We are excited to see our preschool friends again to explore the meadow and look for butterflies on our nature walk at Old Field Preserve.
Welcome to a new season of nature adventures and learning with Lewisboro Land Trust! This September we will explore the meadow to look for butterflies and other insects on our nature walk through the field, shrubland, and woodlands of Old Field Preserve in Waccabuc. Along our path we will observe animal activity and see what fruit is ripening. Come and explore what our critters are up to in the late summer before they prepare for winter!
Our monthly preschool hikes are designed to provide opportunities to learn about nature and socialize in a loosely-structured environment. This program is recommended for ages 3-5 years, but all ages are welcome. Sturdy shoes, water, hats, and bug spray are recommended. Steady rain and other inclement weather cancels.
