Join us for a special nature meditation this month and connect with nature under the brilliant full moon!
Immerse yourself in the calm of winter peace with a guided walk and a seated meditation in the quiet garden at Old Field Preserve. The darkness of winter invites us to turn inward, while the brilliant full moon calls us to reflect on the abundance we have in our lives. Dedicating focus to each of the five senses, especially while outdoors, will help participants unify and balance their energy - a great way to connect to the greater world around us.
This program is led by Catherine Downs, a Reiki Master Teacher and a certified Forest Therapy Guide. This program is limited to 20 attendees. We recommend sturdy shoes and warm layers. Attendees should also bring something to sit on — a blanket, cushion, beach chair, camp chair — and perhaps a hat (or any other props) for additional comfort during the seated meditation. Steady rain or other inclement weather will cancel.
