Autumn Equinox Mindful Outdoor Experience - Saturday, September 23, 9am-1pm from Lewisboro Town Park into Ward Pound Ridge Reservation
Are you excited for the change of the season, crisp air, and falling leaves? Are you looking to reconnect with your intentions after a busy summer? Come celebrate the autumnal equinox with an invigorating 4-mile hike and mindful outdoor experience that will start at the Lewisboro Town Park (upper parking lot) and go into Ward Pound Ridge Reservation. We will wander through the northern end of WPRR, settling down by the Waccabuc River for a mindful experience and lunch. The event will be led by Tertius Bune of Terrapin Guides. Tertius is a licensed NY State Outdoor Guide and a Kripalu Mindful Outdoor Guide.
Please come prepared to be outside for a half day with appropriate layers for warmth & light rain, sun protection/sunscreen, bug spray, water/hydration, your own lunch, and a day pack for all of your gear. If there is steady rain or inclement weather, we will postpone. This event is not suitable for pets and is recommended for ages 14 and up.
Space is limited, so registration is requested at the link below so we can plan for volunteers and communicate any updates to you. Meet at the uppermost parking lot by the baseball field bleachers at Lewisboro town park just off Route 35.
