Preschool Meadow Walk - Friday, May 8th, 2026, 1:30pm - 3:00pm at Old Field Preserve

Join us in exploring the meadow at Old Field Preserve to look for butterflies and blossoms with our preschool friends.

Enjoy a new growing season of nature adventures and learning with Lewisboro Land Trust! This May we will explore the meadow to look for butterflies and other insects on our nature walk through the field, shrub land, and woodlands of Old Field Preserve in Waccabuc. Along our path we will observe animal activity and see what is blooming!

Our monthly preschool hikes are designed to provide opportunities to learn about nature and socialize in a loosely-structured environment. This program is recommended for ages 3-5 years, but all ages are welcome. Sturdy shoes, water, hats, and bug spray are recommended. Steady rain and other inclement weather cancels.

The entrance to Old Field Preserve is on the East side of Mead Street (at the intersection of Schoolhouse Road) in Waccabuc. Parking in the preserve is at the end of the driveway. Learn more about Old Field Preserve here.
