Darwin Day -- Learn how plants/animals cope with the seasons

Explore how plants and animals cope with the change in seasons by changing their behavior and their biology. **This easy family-friendly hike, led by naturalist Jim Nordgren, is open to all ages and to anyone curious about the local landscape.** Highlights of the preserve include a 30-foot waterfall and a hidden pond. Sturdy shoes and warm layers are recommended. Friendly dogs on leash are welcome. Steady rain, snow or other inclement weather cancels.

Marian Yarrow Preserve is located on the East side of Mt. Holly Rd. Katonah, 0.3 miles south of Todd Rd. and 0.3 miles north of Holly Hill Lane.
