Come walk off those Thanksgiving calories and get outside for some crisp fresh Autumn air at our 9th Annual Day-After-Thanksgiving hike along Lewisboro Land Trust’s Educational Nature Trail at Old Field Preserve. For families wishing to participate in a scavenger hunt, cards will be handed out upon arrival.Plan for almost one hour of mostly easy walking. Sturdy, mud-resistant shoes are recommended. Friendly dogs on leash are welcome. Steady rain and other inclement weather cancels. The entrance to Old Field Preserve is on the East side of Mead Street (at the intersection of Schoolhouse Road) in Waccabuc. Parking in the preserve is at the end of the driveway.
