The Lewisboro Town Park

The Lewisboro Town Park consists of sixty acres, owned by the Town of Lewisboro. A variety of recreational facilities are available to town residents, including a swimming pool, toddler pool, basketball courts, picnic pavilion, concert stage and playgrounds. It is the site of many outdoor recreational and educational programs. The pond is open for ice skating when conditions permit.
There are walking/hiking trails within the park and access to the trails at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation. There are some stream crossings and steep areas.
Highlights
Trout Lilies and other ephemerals in early spring, a multitude of songbirds in spring and early summer, numerous species of butterflies in the sunny areas, old growth forest at the top of the Town Park trail. Connects to Ward Pound Ridge Reservation and Old Field Preserve.
Directions
The Town Park is located on the south side of Route 35 between Mead Street and Bouton Road. Parking for trails is at the top of the hill, behind the baseball field.
