Paint with Nature - Saturday, August 1 (rain date is August 2), 2026, 10:00am - 12:00pm at Old Field Preserve

Create one-of-a-kind paintings using objects found in nature!

Following a short hike along the Nature Trail at Old Field Preserve to gather leaves, flowers, and other natural materials and for artistic inspiration, we will gather at the meditation garden to create our own set of natural paint brushes and works of art. Please bring your own scissors and a container; a basket, stiff bag, or bucket to help forage materials. All other supplies will be provided and refreshments will be served.

All ages and abilities are welcome, as the meadow trail is easy to walk on and can be navigated by a stroller, rollator, or wheelchair. Sturdy shoes, long pants, and hats are recommended. In case of inclement weather we will reschedule the event to the following day, Sunday August 2nd. Advance registration is requested due to limited space in the garden, so we can plan for volunteers, and to communicate any changes.
