Tree Planting Day! (Need Your Help)

  • Marian Yarrow Preserve Across from 508 Mt. Holly Road Katonah, NY 10536 United States (map)

Date changed due to weather: We started our **Remove & Restore Project** a year and a half ago. Our goal is to remove the very invasive barberry (and other non-native invaders) from our preserves, and to restore the original plants to create true biodiversity. So far, we have removed a LOT of barberry, and have seen many native plants come back. But we have many more species that need to be re-introduced to make this project a real success. We are grateful to have gotten a grant from [OneTreePlanted.org](http://onetreeplanted.org) for native trees, shrubs, flowers, and seedlings. But we need your help to get them planted! Please sign up for an hour or so on Saturday, April 29th from 1-4 at the Marian Yarrow Preserve on Mt. Holly Road. This is a great opportunity for scouts, community service, or just to be one of our beloved volunteers! Sign Up Here: https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/tree-planting-event-katonah-ny-tickets-579267092467. Thank you for your help!
