Preschool Owl Hike - Friday, October 24th, 1:30pm - 3:00pm at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation, Meadow
Learn about the creatures of the night that live all around us as we take a 1-mile nature walk through woods & meadows, and meet a live owl.
Learn about some of the mysterious nocturnal animals that live around us as we take a 1-mile nature walk through woods and meadow. Our friend Hootie, the spectacled owl, will make a special appearance at the end of the hike in the meadow.
This program is designed for ages 3-5, but all ages are welcome. Sturdy shoes, hats, and water are recommended. Steady rain and other inclement weather cancels. Advance registration is appreciated to plan for volunteers.

Ward Pound Ridge Reservation’s entrance is off of Route 121/Old Post Rd. just south of Route 35. After passing the gatehouse, keep driving straight about 1/2 mile where you will turn left into the Meadow Parking lot. A sign will be placed at the parking lot turn.
