Grandparents Day is Tuesday, September 8th. We’d like you to join us for a guided walk along the Nature Trail at the Old Field Preserve (Mead Street, Waccabuc, at the intersection of Schoolhouse Road) with your kids, grandkids, nieces, nephews, or neighbors. The hike will be from 11-12:00. If you’d like to bring a lunch, you can enjoy it after the hike in the lovely, shaded Meditation Garden at Old Field. We have a limited number of headsets to guarantee physical distancing, so registration is required. Adults will wear the headsets and there will be plenty of time to share information with your young companions. Decorating rocks: We will have several painted rocks available, or you can bring your own. We'll also have brushes and paint. If you'd like to decorate a rock to leave at the garden, we would be happy to have it! Register at events@lewisborolandtrust.org.
