August Meditation Walk - Monday, August 16, 10-11am at Old Field Preserve
Unlock the restorative and therapeutic benefits of a mindful connection with nature.
Start your week with a guided walk that will include a seated meditation in LLT’s Meditation Garden at Old Field Preserve in Waccabuc. Dedicating focus to each of the five senses, especially while outdoors, will help participants unify and balance their energy with the natural world. A great way to unplug from the world and recharge for an hour.
This program is limited to 12 attendees and will be led by Catherine Downs, a certified reiki professional. The Meditation Garden has a few benches, but participants may want to bring their own chair, blanket, or yoga mat to sit on and any other props for additional comfort during the seated meditation. We recommend wearing sturdy shoes and appropriate layers. Steady rain or other inclement weather will cancel.
The entrance to Old Field Preserve is on the East side of Mead Street (at the intersection of Schoolhouse Road) in Waccabuc. There's plenty of parking in the preserve and on the side of the preserve driveway
