International Yoga Day - Sunday, June 21st, 2026, 6:00pm -7:00pm at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation, Shelter #5
Celebrate International Yoga Day with an outdoor yoga session in the picturesque Ward Pound Ridge Reservation.
This program will start with a short walk through the woods before arriving at a peaceful field where participants will enjoy a gentle standing yoga sequence that will end with a peaceful nature meditation. Enjoy traditional yoga with a focus on breathing techniques.
This program is lead by Eve Delachartre, yoga instructor and owner of Breathe for Peace.Yoga. Eve has taught yoga in NYC for over 30 years and, lucky for us, has recently moved to our area. You can find out more about Breathe for Peace.Yoga here.
Props are not required, but a blanket or towel would be helpful. We recommend sunblock, water, and wearing comfortable clothing you can move in. Steady rain or other inclement weather will cancel. This program is recommended for peopled aged 8 and up.
