Two Programs celebrating Earth Day and The Importance of Conservation:
FAMILY PROGRAM – Naturalist Eric Stone of The Rewilding School will lead families on a wooded walk through Mt. Holly Sanctuary, and early Spring habitats, while we learn about the importance of land conservation. Recommended for ages 4+. Boots recommended.
ADULT PROGRAM – LLT‘s board member and head steward of Mt. Holly Preserve, Paul Collura, will take us on a hike through the Preserve. Journey through miles of moderate bucolic terrain. Park at trailhead near 21 Mt. Holly Road East, Katonah. Steady rain cancels.
Sunday, April 26 – 3-4:30 at Katonah Village Library
Annual Leon Levy Environmental Lecture. Author and Educator, Kim Eierman, will speak on the important topic, “Becoming an Environmental Steward of Your Own Property Has Never Been More Important.” Learn why and how. Plenty of time for Q&A. This lecture is free, thanks to the generosity of the Jerome Levy Foundation, and all are welcome.
